Let's switch it up this month and have the bonus puzzle be a crushword spiral. Are you familiar with these? Here's how it works:

In a crushword spiral puzzle, there are two sets of clues, one reading inward from 1 to 36 and the other outward from 36 to 1. Every square will contain two or more letters. If you're using the online solver, click "Escape" to open the rebus menu.

This is a fun puzzle type to make and to solve. It's one of the rare puzzle types I prefer solving on paper, but it works plenty well online. Just don't forget to hit the escape key to open the rebus menu! You're going to be wearing it out.
